Hello! I'm a freelance broadcast television Line Producer and Project Manager. Currently working for Amazon MGM Studios as a Skills Project Manager, I source trainees for the studios' scripted productions in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada via industry partners, and contribute to the development of training programmes. Since 2020, I have also served as Line Producer on a comedy entertainment series commissioned by ITV. I bring over 25 years of experience in unscripted television production management, having worked on commissions, pilots and development for all UK terrestrial channels, as well as overseas reversion sales — on location and in studios, live and as-live, with children, audiences and animals. I'm experienced in managing production teams of 3 to 150+ personnel across the full range of production responsibilities: budgets and schedules, studio and location management, shoot setups, H&S, kit and technology, recruitment, compliance, accounts, post production, in-job training and business affairs. I have also coordinated the overseas rescue of personnel under armed guard, managed shoots across the world, and handled a number of location-based medical emergencies. In 2004, I founded theunitlist.com, a popular TV jobs vacancy site, which I ran alongside my production career until 2023. It continues to serve as a UK TV and Film careers resource. I am regularly invited to deliver guest lectures at universities across the country and for social enterprises, and I produce and deliver training and industry events for clients including FilmFixer, BFI Film Academy, ScreenSkills, Indie Training Fund and the Royal Television Society. Over recent years I have been privileged to contribute to a number of industry working groups and development projects, including the Film and TV Charity's Looking Glass and Whole Picture Toolkit working groups, BBC Academy's Fast Train events, ScreenSkills' TV Production Coordinator Training Programme, Film Trainee Finder and Open Doors, and PACT's Project Diamond. |
